RECUPEL
Recupel is a non-profit organization that organizes the collection and processing of used electrical appliances and light bulbs in our country.
A producer or distributor who puts an electrical (or electronic) appliance on the Belgian market is required by law to take back and recycle it. This can be done by drawing up an individual waste management plan, but it is easier to become a member of Recupel, which ensures that used electrical appliances are taken back and recycled in a sustainable and cost-effective manner. The membership fee is passed on to the end customer.
