BEBAT
Bebat is the organization responsible for the collection, sorting and recycling of used batteries. All batteries placed on the market in our country (production or import) are subject to a declaration and a fee. This fee covers collection, disposal and recycling. Bebat (created by the producers of batteries in our country) takes over this management against a fee (a fixed amount and an amount per battery).
The members of BAPP are affiliated with Bebat. If they offer promotional products or business gifts with a battery, they pass on the Bebat fee to their customers. This obligation is based on decrees and orders concerning the maintenance of the environment. The administrative authorities can therefore impose fines.
