EU STANDARDS

For certain product groups, there are European standards that must be met. These regulations are also applicable to product media introduced on the European market.

These standards aim to protect human and animal health, the environment and consumers. They are harmonized regulations and specifications for the entire EU, adopted and recognized by the member countries.

The product groups to which the standards apply range from toys, clothing, food, electrical appliances to products that come into contact with the skin, etc. More information can be found in the EU’s “Product Regulations and Specifications”.
